​Go your own way - learning by doing at Roxtec  

A few years ago the IPR department at Roxtec consisted of three safes filled with binders and piles of documents. This was the IP management system – the keeper and protector of the company’s intellectual property rights. Enter Jenny Filipsen, a Mechanical engineer with no formal IP background but ready for a challenge.
 

Today, some three and one half years later and the Ipendo Platform™ implemented, Roxtec´s rights are well-structured, thanks to hard work, a functioning IP management system and a creative company climate.

New Product Manager at Ipendo

Meet Eric de Jong - the new Product Manager at Ipendo!

Joakim Frid has taken on the position as Director of  R&D and Eric joined the Ipendo team in May of this year. He is based at the office in Gothenburg, where he lives with his family. Born and raised in The Netherlands, Eric moved to Sweden four years ago. He entered the world of intellectual property by pure coincidence; one of his part-time jobs as a student was at an IP firm. Apparently it stuck. And for that we couldn´t be happier.

IUF USA 2011 
 

The Ipendo User Forum USA 2011 was held August 18-19 at the historic La Valencia Hotel in coastal La Jolla, California. Participants were briefed on the newest features of the Ipendo Platform™ as well as planned upgrades. Ipendo´s Karin Kärvling Söholt discussed the Ipendo road map for change and the Ipendo team demonstrated how to use the many new features including Reference Archive & IDS Management - now allowing users to automatically generate Invention Disclosure Statements for USPTO filings - and the Data Transfer Center, with the added option(s) to transfer via Excel spreadsheet data to and from other software applications.

Ipendo reports from the Benelux 

One year ago Ipendo launched its first subsidiary company in the Benelux. Tonis inside track

Three months have passed since our last Newsletter. Although we try to populate our Newsletters with useful and interesting articles, this time around we have big news that we are delighted to share with all of you.
 
Ipendo has been conducting a very successful business with massive growth since the start of the company six years ago. As a result, over the past couple years Ipendo has been approached by many VC firms and industrial players in order to take part in our business. The owners and management of Ipendo have been evaluating various solutions over the past months, aiming at giving the Ipendo Group the best possible future development and growth potential.
 
Finally, we have reached a decision to join forces with CPA Global! To this end, the Ipendo Group has been acquired by CPA Global effective as of September 28, 2011.

Ipendo customers can anticipate a very rewarding future as a result of this acquisition. Ipendo will now be in an even better position to expand our services offerings, increase our local support and focus on R&D activities.
