Toni Nijm

Toni is one of the co-founders and CEO of Ipendo AB. He is also the driving force behind our company’s success across Europe and the US. Toni’s background is as a consultant in the microelectronics, IT and Telecoms industries, for such major players as Ericsson Telecom among many others. Before founding Ipendo, Toni worked as a patent attorney at a large European firm. Toni has a profound understanding of our client’s IP needs and is passionate about developing and delivering services that are uniquely tailored to today’s business demands. He holds a M.Sc. in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering from the University of Linköping, Sweden.

Karin Kärvling Söholt

Karin is our VP Global Sales and Marketing. She has nearly 20 years experience working with international law issues, in particular competition law and IP rights. Her insights in this area make her acutely aware of the needs of IP professionals and the IT support that is necessary to improve and simplify the working lives of Patent and Legal Departments. Prior to joining Ipendo Karin enjoyed internships at the Secretariats of the European Parliament in Luxembourg and the European Commission in Brussels. She has also held positions at the law firm Lagerlöf & Leman and at AWAPATENT, an IP law firm in Malmö. Karin holds an LL.M. from the University of Lund and specialized in European Community Law at the University of Utrecht.

Nina Forsvall

Nina is Ipendo’s Chief Financial Officer. Her previous experience includes positions at SCT AB in Austria, where she worked in management and finance. During her years at AWAPATENT in Malmö she was responsible for finance and was later appointed as their HR manager with responsibility for nearly 300 employees. Nina holds a Master in Economics from the University of Lund, Sweden, with a major in accountancy. She has a profound knowledge of global finance work and speaks several languages fluently.

Charly Nijm

Charly is one of the co-founders of Ipendo and is currently the Managing Director of Ipendo Systems AB. Before founding Ipendo, Charly worked for many years as a business area manager within the IT sector. He has an IT background with a profound understanding for client’s IT needs. His primary goal is promoting the development of ever better solutions that address all our clients key business needs. Charly holds a Masters degree in Computer Systems Analysis from the University of Linköping.

Marc Karlsson

Marc joined us in 2009 as Director of Ipendo’s Service Business Area and is a highly experienced Intellectual Property manager. After graduating from university he first entered the IP world as a lawyer and research assistant for the Center for Intellectual Property Studies at Gothenburg University. This was followed by an important role heading up the Norwegian Patent division of Europe’s largest IP Law firm, Zacco. From 2004 to 2008 Marc held the position as head of Kongsberg Automotives’ IP & Law department. Marc holds a Master’s degree in Law (Intellectual Capital Management) from Gothenburg University.
